The Beginning Of Rattachai Muay Thai Gym
Starting as a small gym in 2015, the center was founded by a wonderful couple with so much incredible knowledge and love for Muay Thai. The husband, Rattanachai Wor. Valapo is a three-time Lumpinee stadium champion and victor of an M100 tournament now known as Kru Nai. He started his own gym after spending 7 years as a Muay Thai instructor at a gym not too far away from the town of Rattachai.
Along with his wife Nit. Kru Nai, the duo’s traditional Muay Thai training is an art of its own, housed in the family atmosphere at the gym with great authentic teaching methods. A lot of this familial approach is built on the fact that his Muay Thai connections helped save his daughter in 2010. Kru Nai’s Family’s Debt To His Muay Thai Community
Kru Nai’s family was saved by Muay Thai, when in 2010 his newborn daughter Tupim only 7 months old was in urgent need of a liver transplant. The exorbitant cost of a whopping $50,000 was impossible for his family to pull out.
Fortunately for his family, his students, colleagues, and other well-wishers came together to collect the required funds and help their beloved fighter in his most challenging moment. It is no surprise that every person that has been to his own venture, Rattachai Muay Thai says they felt the welcoming atmosphere of a great family ran gym.

To me, with the physical and mental struggles I was facing, and my wife a mother of three that gave birth very recently, Rattachai Muay Thai gym was helpful beyond expectations.
From our very first class to every consecutive class thereafter, the teachers have always been welcoming, helpful, and patient. I started with Kru Tar and still train with him, and it has been a phenomenal experience ever since. This has helped us as beginners of Muay Thai, as new residents of the island, and also in our personal lives.
