Yok Li Dum Restaurant is a superb local restaurant that serves dim sum, amazing Tom Yum noodles, soup dumplings, and a variety of other Thai versions of Chinese food. Although dim sum dishes are part of Chinese cuisine and popular in Chinese restaurants, this touch of local flavors makes it a great local breakfast or brunch spot to indulge in.
There is a variety of dishes to choose from and the airy, comfortable setting can accommodate even a large group of people. The restaurant is located in Chalong, a gorgeous beach town popular with ex-pats, tourists, and locals alike. It is only twenty minutes away from the capital of the island, Phuket Town. Chalong is a great location for everyone with a great balance of entertainment and relaxation. I love living here, and Yok Li is one of my favorite places to enjoy the best Chinese food, dim sums with a local touch.

Yok Li uses the freshest ingredients with fragrant herbs to create mouthwatering dishes that leave you craving for more. Every ingredient from the soy sauce to the pastes, and other additions makes an extensive menu full of delicious items.
The har gow, a shrimp dim sum is just one of its seafood dishes, that tantalizes your taste buds. My personal favorite is the Tom Yum noodles but their fried rice with salted fish is something you should not miss either.
Affordable
If you want to eat to your heart’s content without worrying about how expensive the food will cost you, this is the perfect location for you to have a hearty meal. In comparison to Hua Gu, a great Cantonese, and Chinese restaurant not far away, Yok Li serves equally great food at more affordable prices.
Homely Local Atmosphere
The food is only an addition to the simple yet welcoming atmosphere at Yok Li. Enjoying your meal at the restaurant is a much better local experience than simply taking takeout. Despite not having free WiFi or delivery services, Yok Li is always crowded reiterating the fact that the atmosphere and service keep customers flocking to the restaurant. This is the first branch of this restaurant but we hope they open many around the beautiful island of Phuket.
